| | | Lukas H. Lundin Position: Chairman, Director
Born in 1958, Lukas Lundin was raised in Stockholm, Sweden and educated at the Ecole Internationale de Genève in Switzerland. In 1981, Mr. Lundin graduated from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (engineering).
At age 25, Mr. Lundin headed International Petroleum Corporation's extensive and rapidly growing international operations and was based in the Company's technical office in Dubai, U.A.E. for over 12 years. From 1990 to June 1995, Mr. Lundin was President of International Musto Exploration Limited and was responsible for Musto's acquisition of the Bajo de la Alumbrera deposit. Bajo de la Alumbrera was the subject of a $500 million takeover by Rio Algom and North Limited and is now one of the largest gold/copper producers in the world. Mr. Lundin was also responsible for Argentina Gold and the discovery of the multi-million ounce Veladero gold deposit. Veladero was the subject of a $300 million takeover by Homestake in 1999. In addition, Mr. Lundin was a senior Director of Lundin Oil AB and was instrumental in the $480 million takeover of Lundin Oil by Talisman Energy in 2001. Mr. Lundin is currently a Director of a number of publicly traded resource companies. Mr. Lundin has been a director of Atacama since August 1996.
A world traveler and motorcycle racing enthusiast, Mr. Lundin has twice completed the grueling 10,000 kilometre Dakar race across the Sahara Desert. He has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. In the winter, he can be found helicopter skiing in Whistler and in summer, dirt bike racing with his four boys in Baja California.

| | | Edward F. Posey Position: President, C.E.O. and Director
Mr. Posey has an outstanding track record of success within the Lundin Group of Companies and is currently directing Atacama through a major expansion program which will position the Company as a leading industrial minerals producer.
Prior to joining Atacama, Mr. Posey was President of Lundin Mining Corporation and North Atlantic Natural Resources AB where he led the geological team responsible for the discovery of the Storliden high grade copper/zinc mine which was financed, constructed and put into production within 3 years of discovery. Mr. Posey then led Lundin Mining through two major acquisitions, the Zinkgruvan and Galmoy mines, which positioned Lundin Mining as one of the largest zinc producers worldwide and within the lowest cash cost quartile. In addition to his years in Sweden with Lundin Mining, Mr. Posey has many years of exploration and mine development experience in Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Mr. Posey holds a B.Sc., in Mining Geophysics from the University of Utah. Mr. Posey has been a director of Atacama since May 2005.

| | | Richard P. Clark Position: Director
Mr. Clark is a lawyer and practiced mining and securities law in British Columbia from 1987 to 1993 when he left the active practice of law to become President of Tombstone Explorations Co. Ltd., a mineral exploration and development company. Mr. Clark directed Tombstone through an aggressive Latin American acquisition and mineral development program until November, 1999, when he left to join Atacama Minerals Corp. Mr. Clark holds a B.A. and a LLB from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Clark is also currently President of Red Back Mining Inc. which is developing a new gold mine in Ghana. Mr. Clark has been a director of Atacama since January 1994.

| | | Paul K. Conibear Position: Director
Mr. Conibear is a professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in heavy industrial and mining projects in North America, Africa, Chile, Venezuela, Uruguay and Argentina. A civil engineer by training, his background is project and construction management of a diverse range of minerals projects including base and precious metal, coal and potash projects. Mr. Conibear spent many years with Fluor Daniel Wright, where he held progressively senior project management and site positions for a variety of projects and more recently was part of the of the management team that established the highly successful Simons Mining Group. Mr. Conibear has been a director of Atacama since June 1997.

| | | John Craig Position: Director
Mr. Craig practices in the securities law area with a focus on equity financings both for underwriters and issuers with an emphasis on resource companies, TSX listing, dealings with TSX and OSC for listed public companies, takeovers and issuer bids and going private transactions. His mergers and acquisitions experience involves mergers of public companies, both listed and unlisted and acquisitions of listed companies by unlisted and private concerns. Mr. Craig is also involved with international resources in negotiation and drafting of mining, oil and gas concession agreements, joint venture agreements, operation agreements and farm-in agreements in a variety of countries. Mr. Craig received his B.A. and Llb from the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to the bar in 1973. Mr. Craig has been a director of Atacama since Septembr 2004.

| | | Ron Hochstein Position: Director
Ron Hochstein, P.Eng., has a wealth of experience in the mining industry. He was previously with Simons Mining Group, an internationally recognized engineering company where he was involved in the financial analysis of a number of major projects. He is much traveled, having worked in the mining industry in consulting, operations and management in the U.S., Canada, South America and Africa. He has also spent time in the oil and gas industry, working early in his career for Brenda Oil and Gas and North Canadian Oils. Mr. Hochstein has a B.Sc. in metallurgical engineering and an MBA. Mr. Hochstein is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Denison Mines Corp. and director of Fortress Minerals Corp. Mr. Hochstein has been a director of Atacama since June 2003.

| | | M.B. (Barry) Needham Position: Director
Mr. Needham recently retired with 40 years experience in the Mining Industry incorporating grass roots exploration/development and engineering and construction management in the development of mines and mineral processing facilities worldwide. Since the mid 1970's he was a senior executive with major Canadian international EPCM companies, Wright Engineers Limited, Fluor Daniel Wright and most recently the AMEC Mining & Metals Group. His experience is primarily related to all facets of financial and commercial management. Mr. Needham is a chartered accountant [ FCA England & Wales] and [ CA British Columbia] and is a director of YVR Airport Services Ltd., a subsidiary of the Vancouver Airport Authority. Mr. Needham has been a director of Atacama since June 7, 2006.

| | | Brian Kennedy Position: Vice President-Operations
Mr. Kennedy has over 19 years of experience on major international mining projects with extensive experience in process design and engineering, plant commissioning and start up. Mr. Kennedy is a professional engineer with a B.A.Sc. in metallurgical engineering from the University of British Columbia and has held senior process and project management positions with AMEC, Rescan and Flour Daniel. Mr. Kennedy has been Vice President of Operations of Atacama since October 13, 2006.
